Interschutz is the world's largest trade fair for the fire and rescue sector, held every five years in Hannover, Germany. This year, from June 1 - 6, we attended for the first time - as part of the Norwegian pavilion organised by the German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce.
Over the course of six days, we had conversations with fire and rescue professionals from Belgium, Great Britain, Spain, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Germany, and more. It was really encouraging to see such a diverse crowd, showing genuine and consistent interest in Weave Maps. The conversations gave us a clearer picture of where the product resonates most - and why, which is valuable for future feature prioritizations.

What our visitors liked the most:
The simplicity and ease of use
An interface that requires little explanation
Support across multiple platforms and devices
The ability to build a realistic scenario from any location in the world, in minutes
At the same time, having such a broad range of users and professional perspectives move through our stand was also valuable in terms of observing how users from different countries actually use our product. The result: A concrete list of improvements - primarily around user experience - that we are already working through.
A thank you to our fellow exhibitors at the Norwegian pavilion: LESS AS, KAMV AS, Sweet Protection, Hatløy Maritime AS, and NorLense. And to the German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce for a well-organised trip.

We'll definitely be back in 2030.
